A leading fixtures and furniture manufacturer for over 40 years. GDM Retail has a modern 7000m2 factory and design hub in Whanganui, with a sales office in Auckland.
We design, engineer, prototype and manufacture to customer specification. We believe Good Design Matters and provide best practice in metal fabrication, laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC joinery construction, painting, powder coating and logistics efficiently co‑ordinated from the same site.
We have joint venture agreements with several factories in Asia to ensure solutions can be manufactured or sourced for any project.
Our staff based in Asia ensure operational and quality standards are maintained in accordance to the GDM Lean Manufacturing ‘World Class’ philosophy.
Applying over 40 years of experience and knowledge, we work with retail teams to create and deliver customer-centric retail display solutions.
We work with your designers, or utilise our design team, to craft innovate retail fixture and shelving systems, optimised for manufacturing and the customer experience.
From our manufacturing hub in Whanganui, or indented through our offshore factories, we manufacture customise joinery and metalwork for commercial and retail fixtures and furniture.
We work closely with our customers to manage manufacturing, stock control, warehousing, logistics and installation of retail display systems.
